If you’re new to my style of photography, I actually started out as a street photographer. This particular shoot made me giddy inside because it allowed me to go back to my roots and combine it with couples photography. I was on vacation in the Philippines when I was chatting with my good friend Chris about going on a food crawl in the oldest china town in the world located in Binondo. We immediately thought why not make the trip more fun by doing a couple shoot for her and her fiance Francis. And that we did.

The hustle and bustle in every alley made the afternoon more colorful. It pays to work with a couple who’s keen to enjoy the moment and pose amidst the crowd. It’s the stuff romantic films are made of I tell you. The vibe couldn’t have been more perfect. Despite the busy traffic and the humid Manila weather, I saw the love between these two and that just drove me to do even better. If anything, I’d want to do the shoot longer. That’s how much I enjoyed shooting Chris and Francis. My only wish for these two would be to have a love that is timeless. The type that can carry on through history just like these lovely streets we set foot on together.
